Nick was a fantastic photographer to work with at our recent wedding! From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, Nick wasn't afraid to direct us, but still was very laidback and open-minded. He has a great style (see his portfolio) of capturing the moment with minimal use of artificial looking filters. He uses light beautifully and made us look like models! His turn-around time was very quick (less than 1 week for engagement photos and less than 3 weeks for wedding pics!). He was professional, friendly, worked great with our families, just an all around great guy and excellent artist. We loved working with Nick and highly recommend him to others!

As a caveat, neither my wife nor I are crazy about being photographed, and we had some worries about how comfortable we would be with photographers following us around all day on our wedding day. Also, we wanted a very relaxed, fun wedding, which meant that we wanted to keep things loose and flexible. Nick deserves ALL the stars and our highest recommendation.

I cannot say enough good things about Nick Welsh. We chose him to photograph our wedding after reading the reviews and meeting with him informally. We, too, were anxious because we hate being photographed and feel that photos of us accentuate our general awkwardness. He offered an engagement session as part of the package, and while we didn't think we wanted engagement photos, he suggested using the session as a way of getting to know him and feeling a little more comfortable in front of the camera. Even those photos turned out great and eased our anxiety about the wedding photography.

Nick was recommended to me by a friend when my then-fiance, now husband, and I were looking for a wedding photographer. Taking that friend up on her recommendation was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding.

We were impressed not only by the quality and variety of photographs, but by Nick's rapid turnaround in getting them to us after the wedding. My husband's mother came from Ethiopia for our wedding, and wanted to take photos home with her for the relatives. Nick sent us half the photos within less than 2 weeks of the wedding just so my mother-in-law could print professional quality photos to take home to Ethiopia, and followed up with the rest shortly thereafter.
