I think we had to re-schedule this shoot at least three times because of weather, park permits, etc. but we made this shoot happen! Aint nothin’ gonna keep us from shooting! But seriously, these guys are such great human beings, despite being Redskins fans 🙂 We took these at the Dumbarton Oaks Park in Georgetown in Washington, DC. It’s funny how an hour and a half of shooting goes by and it feels like 15 minutes because we were just having fun! Congrats you guys! I’m looking forward to what will be a beautiful October wedding! My favorite month to shoot!
These guys got married last year but I never got the chance to share the photos from their day! They were amazing! Such passionate people that were so obviously in love it was an honor to witness! And the dancing at the resection…oh snap! That dancing was off the hook! Thank you to both Yasmine and Panos for having me there to capture your day! Enjoy 🙂
I love engagement sessions. I also love shooting at Union Station in Washington, DC. So I knew that this was going to be a fun shoot going into it. But I also knew I didn’t want to just lean on the same shots I’ve taken there before. I wanted to do something new. Something different. I wanted to look at each shot with a different idea in mind. These guys were so willing to go along with that and trust me. Let me say, as an artist, there is no greater honor than when a couple trusts you! What we got are some of my favorite shots I’ve taken in a while! Guys, you two are clearly in love! Thanks for letting me document that love in a new way! Looking forward to their July wedding!
