Spring has sprung. Finally. I think we were all starting to wonder if it would ever come. Well, here its. And with it in DC the cherry blossoms have arrived. And with them, the tourists are also here. A lot of them. A few tourists, however, won’t get this guy down! Especially when a beautiful Sunday in April involves an awesome Chicago couple, a dog, a motorcycle, and of course, cherry blossoms. Nicole & Frankie are getting married soon and heading out of DC to New York. They asked me if we could take some photos of them in DC before they head out. I happily obliged and what followed was an excellent time talking about dogs, Szechuan food and the very affordable real estate market in New York City! I hope you enjoy these as much as I did! Cheers!
Now these two. Oh my gosh are these two funny. I don’t think I’ve laughed more on a shoot than I did with these guys. What I love most is the way that comes through the photos here 🙂 I met Lizzie and Brian through a mutual friend. I’m super excited about they’re wedding coming in early ’15! Seriously! If it’s half as awesome as the engagement shoot then look out! This was also one of the last engagement shoots for the ’14 season and what a way to top things off! Lizzie & Brian, I’m so glad I met you! Looking forward to your big day! Cheers!
Let me first say that 24 hours before this shoot I had not met these two before. Boy am I glad I can now say we’re friends now 🙂 These two needed a last second engagement shoot and I was up to it. I found out they’re from Chicago. I love Chicago. Midwest. Big city. Chicago Drum Exchange. Hot dogs. Cool weather. A professional football team that frequently loses to the Packers. What’s not to like?! But seriously, they had some cool ideas for the shoot. We drove all over DC; the National Cathedral, Embassy Row, Georgetown, good times. Check out these two and give them well wishes as they prepare for their wedding next year! Cheers!
